Preschoolers will love our Thursday storytimes! Specially crafted for the energy and joy of our 3 to 5 year old patrons, the stories, songs, rhymes, and fun times will entertain and educate.

This fall, University City Public Library will be offering a free, interactive, 8-week course in the Art of Communication and Leadership taught by a member of Toastmasters International, a public speaking organization.
We all want to learn how to be better communicators. In this course, our Youth Leaders will become more comfortable using new ways of communicating. Each participant will learn to give perspective, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. If something doesn’t work, Youth Leaders will be encouraged to try a new approach.
Every participant will be given a variety of rolls and assignments, culminating in a celebration of their growth the final week. The opportunities for everyone to grow are endless!
Advance Registration is Required. The minimum size for the class is 10 participants.

Join University City Public Library as it hosts local authors Willie Mae Anthony as well as Larry, Paris and Langston Rodgers in a Celebration of Stories!
EyeSeeMe books will also be on site with a very special book fair! Children present will go home with a free book while supplies last, and an expanded selection of EyeSeeMe & Author books will be available for purchase.
