Youth Summer Reading – Kids in the Kitchen Ages 10 to 12

Kids in the Kitchen encourages young people to eat healthier meals and snacks as a result of hands-on cooking experiences. Youth participants learn to prepare simple, healthy foods they can make for themselves and their family members. Each lesson includes kid-friendly handouts such as recipes and tips for how to use kitchen equipment safely.

Youth Summer Reading – Endangered Wolf Center
Jul 15 @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

Wolves, foxes, African painted dogs, and maned wolves, oh my! Your group will learn all about the eight species of canids (animals in the dog family) at the EWC by viewing photos, interacting with tangible biofacts, and learning what you can do to help the endangered species in our care. Focus will be placed on history, captivating stories, and the important role these animals play in a healthy ecosystem.
