Youth Summer – Trash Movie Night: Mega Shark v. Mecha Shark

There is something special about sitting down with a bag of popcorn, a snack, and your friends and just roasting a terrible film. That’s what we are setting out to do with our Trash Movie Night this summer at U City Library.

A new mega shark threatens to destroy humanity. The government creates an exact robotic copy of the shark, either equal to or greater than the original. Now they must fight to the death while people and whole cities get in the way. No, I’m not kidding. This is going to be wonderfully, fabulously bad. Plus there will be make-your-own mini pizzas!

This movie is technically unrated, but after librarian review it was determined to fit a PG-13 rating. It contains violence, destruction, some cursing, and romance. Therefore the event is for Teens ages 13+, though it is up to individual families to decide if this event is right for their Teen.

The movie night is free for Teens and will take place at the University United Methodist Church (across the parking lot from our temporary location).
