Help us kick off our Secrets of the Deep Adult Summer Reading Program at 7 p.m. ONLINE. Melody Jue is an associate professor of English at UC Santa Barbara working across the fields of ocean humanities, science fiction, science studies, and media theory. Her lecture “Diving into Reading” will explore themes of experiencing culture and the arts through water and prepare us for a summer of reading!

Most of the Adult Summer Reading programs will take place online and all are free and open to all. Email reference@ucitylibrary.org to receive an email invitation to the Zoom event. Each event will also be live-streamed to UCPL’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
