This winter, University City Public Library will be offering a free, interactive, 8-week course in the Art of Communication and Leadership taught by a member of Toastmasters International, a public speaking organization.
We all want to learn how to be better communicators. In this course, our Youth Leaders will become more comfortable using new ways of communicating. Each participant will learn to give perspective, feedback and encouragement in a supportive environment. If something doesn’t work, Youth Leaders will be encouraged to try a new approach.
Every participant will be given a variety of roles and assignments, culminating in a celebration of their growth the final week. The opportunities for everyone to grow are endless!
Advance Registration is Required. The minimum size for the class is 10 participants.
To register, fill out our online form by CLICKING HERE. If you have any questions, please reach out by calling the library or via email at youthservices@ucitylibrary.org
