Book Clubs for Kids

Every year, UCPL holds two book clubs for elementary-age students. Our first, Show Me Reader Book Club, listens to and discusses the books on Missouri’s Show Me list with Ms. Stephanie and then chooses a favorite. In our second book group, the Treehouse Book Club, Ms. C has students point us in the direction of what they’re interested in and selects books on that theme to discuss.

While our book clubs have generally met at the Library, due to the renovation process, we will be looking for a new location for the 2021-2022 groups to meet. While we wait for the November start of this year’s book club season, check out what we have to offer by watching the read-alouds from last year’s virtual meetings!
