Book Clubs for Kids

Every year, UCPL holds two book clubs for elementary-age students. Our first, Show Me Reader Book Club, listens to and discusses the books on Missouri’s Show Me list with Ms. Stephanie and then chooses a favorite. In our second book group, the Treehouse Book Club, Ms. C has students point us in the direction of what they’re interested in and selects books on that theme to discuss.

Our book clubs meet in Lil’s Treehouse in the Youth Services area of the library at 6701 Delmar Blvd. While we wait for the October start of this year’s book club season, check out what we have to offer by watching the read-alouds from past years!

For more information about book clubs and other Youth Services events call 314-727-3150 or email youthservices@ucitylibrary.org.
